| Born in Toronto, Susan Ioannou has a B.A. and M.A.
from the University of Toronto. For many years, she served as
Associate Editor of Cross-Canada Writers' Magazine and taught
writing for the Toronto Board of Education, University of Toronto
School of Continuing Studies, and Ryerson University. As Director of
Wordwrights Canada, she created both the online course Lessons in
Writing the Poem and the handbook, A Magical Clockwork: The
Art of Writing the Poem. Author of several poetry collections,
she now focuses on her own creative work and editing. A chapbook,
Coming Home, is forthcoming from Leaf Press in fall 2004. |
