Lily
Pauline Lim, (Pauline Lacey, Pauline Francis, "Lily Pauline Francis")
refused the name, Lily and went by her second name, Pauline. She is my
mother. After her death, I teasingly call her Lily and plant
lilies in her memory. The Honouring Mothers, Mother's Day Lily
Project is a way to remember her. There was no funeral which made her
loss more difficult. |
Jean
Long-time friend, Jean Northam, lost her daughter Carmen in 1980 and
buried in the same plot twenty-two years later.
Jean's favourite flower is the lily.

Shirley
Pauline's long-time friend, Shirley Parkin, was a neighbourhook "mom",
always available and ready to give a hand.
She helped many people, including Pauline.
